Due to popular demand I will be running my workshops again!

This year, I decided to make some amendments to the way I run my chunky crochet classes. I feel that despite all the joy and excitement, learning to crochet for 3 hours in one go is very challenging for some; even though I do teach basics, there is quite a lot to take in. Therefore, I split my beginners classes into two-hour long chunks. At the beginning of each class (first 2 hours only) I will be explaining basic techniques and we'll spend the rest concentrating on a specific project based on those techniques.

Also, I believe that everyone will benefit from practising between sessions at home and this will speed up the process of crocheting our item. 

This class includes two sessions 2 hours each. Please make sure you are available on both dates. Ideal for beginners or for those who want to refresh their crochet skills.

I will be explaining basic crochet stitches and techniques e.g. magic ring, casting on stitches, single and double crochet etc. as well as principles of making a perfect round basket. The aim of this class is to crochet a little round basket of your own.

Materials provided:

* 5mm thick cotton cord
* crochet hook

Practising at home between sessions is highly recommended!

Please note: minimum age 14.
We will be using thick cotton cord which requires a little more strength than working with ordinary soft yarn.

Coffee and tea provided too (feel free to bring a bite).
